About the experience

To become a surfer takes very little equipment, but requires a lot of practice. Done properly, surfing can be one of the most addictive and rewarding activities out there – we love to surf and we want you to love it, too. If you’ve always wanted to surf, but have no idea how to get started, then look no further – San Francisco is a great place to start your learning!

Take a lesson and learn the basics

a) Essential beach & surf safety
b) Controlling and balancing on the board while lying down
c) Paddling techniques
d) When and where to catch the waves to get the best ride
e) How to wipe out! Safely…
f) Techniques for standing up and where to position your feet and body

Duration

a) Individual lesson for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
b) 30 minutes basic technique and safety
d) 2 hours water time together with the instructor.
