The area around Tromsø offers a wide range of hiking possibilities by snowshoes. Snowshoes are a great way to use when you want to get out and enjoy the winter landscape. All tours provide a good atmosphere in different ways and require no special skills.

Easy… funny… healthy. It also gives you good exercise at any age and shape.

On this trip, we’ll explore Kvaloya, Norway’s fourth largest island only 25 minutes from Tromsø city center, and hopefully, see some of the arctic wildlife during our trip out into the wild. Once at our camp we’ll provide snowshoes and clothing to keep you warm on the trip. Our guide talks you through the route and leads you onto an exciting trek into the arctic countryside. The mountains locally offer great views of the surrounding area of Tromsø and Balsford. If the weather is good we’ll enjoy some hot drinks outside and admire the views before heading back to our center, otherwise, you can relax in our lavvo by the fire when you get back.
