Trips to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone are one of the fascinating experiences for any adventurer, extreme traveller or passionate photographer. Every year there are around 30 000 tourists from all over the world visiting the Chernobyl zone, but only a few are able to see and experience moments in Chernobyl and Pripyat which stay hidden and unknown for the vast majority of visitors.
Included in the tour is the “mandatory” exploration of the secrets and history of the ghost city Pripyat, mysterious secret military radar Duga as well as a visit close to the “well-known” Chernobyl nuclear powerplant. Visitors will also meet local inhabitants who survived the explosion of reactor number 4 and the following evacuation.
You will witness how nature overcame human opus. Not just during the expedition itself, but also while sitting at the hotel directly in Chernobyl, you will get to know new facts about the whole project of V.I. Lenin Nuclear Power Plant, as well as about the accident that followed. You will be travelling in time – back to 1986. You will feel drawn into the communist propaganda and its artefacts – buildings, signs, slogans, and military technique – which will be imprinted in your memory.
You will visit abandoned buildings, including a swimming pool, a hospital, a school, a kindergarten, a police station, and an amusement park, which will be followed by a visit to the secret military radar station, “Duga”. Our guide is equipped with photos of Pripyat and Chernobyl, giving you the chance to go back in time to 1986.
