This Bali to Komodo and Rinca one day trip will lead you to one of the most exotic places not only in Indonesia but in the whole world. Komodo National Park covers an area of 1817 sq.km and includes many other small islands. During our journey to the wild side of Indonesia, you will visit Komodo island and Rinca island. Komodo National Park was created to protect the world’s largest lizard – Komodo Dragon (Varanus Komodoensis). Later the Park was dedicated also to protect other species, including the marine ones. In 1991 the national park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Until now only about 5,700 Komodo dragons live in the Park and you will be able to get the closest view ever to see them by your own eyes and interact with these huge lizards, that are growing to an average length of 2 to 3 meters.

Komodo waters have the rich coral reefs that are a home to a great diversity of species, such as sea turtles, whales, dolphins, and dugongs. As you will have a snorkeling included in the tour, you will be able to experience the underwater world as well.

Trip plan

Your 1-day tour starts by pickup from Labuan Bajo (Flores) airport/hotel in the early morning and then continue directly to Komodo Island by a private charter boat (around 2 hours). If you feel pretty hungry, no worries, our staff will take care of you and serve a tasty breakfast. When you arrive in Komodo National Park you will see the famous giant lizards – Komodo Dragons, have 2-hours trekking to them in their natural habitat, their nests, and prey. Here among Komodo Dragons, you may be able to see some other interesting wild animals like horses, buffalo, pigs, deer, and tropical birds.

Next place to visit is a Pink Beach, one of only seven in the world. Here is the best place to discover amazing underwater life, snorkeling, laying and relaxing on the unique pink sands and take some romantic memorable photos. Here you will have lunch on the board.

Before you go back to Flores, you also will travel to Rinca Island – a second main island in the Komodos. After the short trekking and experiencing Komodo dragons and other wild animals of Rinca Island, you will go back to Labuan Bajo harbor, where our driver will be waiting for you to drop back to the airport or any other place in Labuan Bajo (arrive around 18-30), according to your request. During a sailing on the boat, the dinner will be served for you.
