This is a personal and extraordinary hunt for the Northern Lights, an experience you will never forget. Visible throughout the long night of the Arctic winter from September to March, northern lights dance across the sky in green or white curtains of light, shifting in intensity and taking on forms that seem to spring from a child’s vivid imagination.

Our northern lights adventures run from Tromso, Norway, and offers an exciting chase for the northern lights. We will search for clear skies, maybe make a campfire, eat traditional Norwegian food, and enjoy the great outdoors, while the northern lights are dancing above us. While there’s no guarantee that the northern lights will appear at any given time, if you are lucky enough to see them, it’s an experience that will live with you forever.

Your Northern Lights chases are guided by a mix of professional tour guides, photographers, and experienced Northern light hunters, all in small groups as it makes the experience more genuine. We travel in small groups as it creates a special, cozy atmosphere and makes us more flexible. You will be picked up by your local guides in the city center and start the tour by heading towards beautiful mountains, fjords, and valleys. On the tour, you will experience Tromsø wildlife and beautiful scenery. You can expect an unforgettable experience as the arctic nature is pretty unpredictable. You will be provided lunch, warm clothes, snacks, food, and drinks. After the tour, you are taken directly to your hotel.

This tour is specifically designed for those who are up for a real chase, which often involves traveling long distances and returning late. Our reward is an excellent success rate in finding a clear sky and catching the Northern Lights.
