Kung Fu is one of the world’s most ancient martial arts. With variations of discipline and countless styles to explore, it is also one of the most popular. Far before the Hollywood’s martial arts sensation, Bruce Lee left the whole world captivated by the awesomeness that is Kung Fu, it has been an essential part of over 5000-year-old culture in China, its land of origin, and has been deeply rooted in the lives of its people.

It’s safe to say that many Kung fu practitioners, no matter where they reside, has had a lifelong dream to train in China to master the art of Kung Fu. That said, the idea of training in China, the largest and most populated country in the world, may appear overwhelming in itself and prevent some of us to pursue that dream further. Therefore China is a good place to improve already acquired skills and get them on a wholly new level.

But what about those who just want to be introduced to this traditional Chinese martial art of Kung Fu? Especially for those Hong Kong visitors that are maybe new with martial arts, or want to know what Chinese Kung Fu is or just want to know and get deeper in Chinese culture from different not usual point of view, we decided to offer the possibility to have a one day training experience in local Kung Fu school. Surely one day of Kung Fu training is not enough to know even the basic skills, but it should be enough for initial introduction to this ancient compound Chinese martial art culture, which could be the first step to be interested in practicing this skill further on.

What to expect from private class

Based on your goals and motivations the instructor will write out a tailored training schedule with you. Your instructor will guide you through a motivating, safe and effective class. The lesson can include illustrations, explanations and various other information that’s specifically relevant to you, but most of all, it will be about training on all the right things that you need.

Participants should be dressed comfortably, preferably in T-shirt and trousers.
