Gin tasting in Gubbio – a unique experience for gin lovers. This tour takes you to the first micro-distillery in Umbria, where you will learn how to make a special gin and enjoy a delightful tasting experience.

Ok, this is seriously a once in a lifetime experience! Welcome to the first micro-distillery in Umbria, in Gubbio and one of the few in Italy to share its spaces with a room open to the public. With this tour you will learn how to make a special gin!

The company works with two stills. The first V100 Alambicco in copper and vertical cylindrical stainless steel produced by Frilli S.r.l. is a 200 liters direct-fire discontinuous copper still made on a carter head system. The second copper and stainless steel vertical cylindrical still produced by Frilli S.R.L. is a discontinuous direct-fire 12 liter copper still, made on a carter head system.

The initial production is Gin 43 ∞ 12 ∞ (proprietary brand), which are the geographical coordinates of Gubbio as well as the alcohol content and the number of botanicals. A new brand for a Gin produced in the region where the best juniper in Italy is born.

The first line AQUAMIRABILIS is a classic GIN Dry in London style, very dry and with a strong juniper aroma. A Gin with a unique aromatic profile. On the nose the persistent citrus notes contrast with the aroma of our juniper, while the beautiful floral notes open up, guaranteeing AQUAMIRABILIS an olfactory roundness and a unique perfume persistence.

With this Gin tasting experience you will meet the master distiller (or however a highly qualified personnel) and start the tour and explanation of both the company and the products!

After the tour and explanation you’ll be served a Light lunch with a platter of cold cuts, cheeses and the local “Crescia” (a typical bread), 1 gin tonic with gin of the distillery, a dessert, coffee and a liquor made by the distillery. At the end of the tour you’ll also be given a special souvenir!
