An enthralling tour of India’s most colourful state of Rajasthan starting from Jaipur – the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Listed Pink City – and ending at the world’s most romantic city of lakes Udaipur. You will be received at IGI International Airport, New Delhi and driven to Jaipur. On conclusion of your tour on the 15th day you will be flown from Udaipur to New Delhi to board your flight back home. You will enjoy a gala welcome dinner with bar-be-cue and unlimited drinks with folk music and dances and puppet shows. Enjoy a dinner at the 150-year old Castle Kalwar located 25 km from Jaipur. You will take an excursion to the 14th century awesome 450-stepwell. While at Jaipur an excursion to Samode to see the lovely frescoes palace.
Drive on the 3rd day to the lovely town to Kishangarh and stay at the Phool Mahal – palace-by-the lake. See here the heritage Kishangarh Fort and talk to students of the studio where Kishangarh School miniature paintings are made on silk cloth. Enjoy dinner on the lawns of this lovely property. Next day after breakfast take walking tours of the colourful bazaars of this ancient town. Visit beautiful temples scattered around. Late afternoon, drive 35 km to the sacred town Pushkar. See a memorable aarti being performed to Lord Brahma. Take rounds of the sacred ponds and observe religious rituals being performed. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the famous Pushkar Palace. Overnight at Phool Mahal at Kishangarh.
FORT BIJAIPUR
Drive to Fort Bijaipur for two memorable days. Enjoy swims in its pool, a 50-minute Ayurvedic massage; take a jeep safari through quaint villages and hamlets. Savour lunch at a lake. Learn to tie a saree and colourful turbans by the males. See demonstration of some delicious Indian dishes. Take a small drive to the majestic Fort Chittorgarh that is listed on UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a marvel of military engineering. Dinner at Fort Bijaipur.
UDAIPUR – The Lake City
Drive 120 km to Udaipur for a two night stay. Udaipur is decidedly one of the world’s most charming places with its lovely gardens, lakes, palaces and bazaars. Take a cruise on its pristine Lake Pichola, spend time seeing the rich collection in the City Palace museum.
Go to the exquisite Bagor-ki-haveli to see a classical dance performance. Drive up a hill to see the Summer Palace. Spend time at the Crafts Village to see craftsmen making products sold across the world. You will enjoy two cruises : at sunset and at dawn ! Enjoy dinner at the famous lake-facing Amrai Restaurant. Walk around the lakes and in the gardens including in Sahalion-Ki-Bari.
RANAKPUR – KUMBHALGARH
Take a memorable drive to Ranakpur. Enroute see the exquisite 11th century Nagda and Eklingji Temples. Check into a resort at Ranakpur. Late afternoon take a jeep safari visiting cenotaphs and temples. Dinner and overnight in the resort. Next morning after breakfast visit the lovely all-white marble Jain Temple most sacred to the followers of Jainism.
Here visit a low-cost school government school to interact with the children. They would love to hear from you about your country and get photographed. Distribute to the children fruit provided by your Tour Operator-Host. Enjoy local delicacies at dinner. overnight at Ranakpur.
KUMBHALGARH
Drive to Kumbhalgarh and check-in at Kumbhalgarh Royal Villas. Take a jeep safari through the forests and valleys of the tribal region. See rare birds in abundance. Visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Its ramparts are massive, second in length after the Great Wall of China. Dinner at Kumbhalgarh Royal Villas.
UDAIPUR – AIRPORT – NEW DELHI AIRPORT
On your 14th day of this unique tour take your 3rd 50-minute Ayurvedic massage. Drive through the city; see other throbbing bazaars. At night your Tour Operator-Host and his wife will welcome you to a gala farewell dinner with the choicest bar-be-cue and unlimited drinks. They will present you a gift on this occasion.
On the 15th day leave for the airport to board your flight to New Delhi and then on flight home.
