Ghale Gaun Village Hike is the ultimate adventure in Nepal. It is an emotional blast, a means for recreation, relaxation and charging positive emotions.

Go on a hike up to Namo Buddha, a beautiful point situated at an elevation of 5,740 feet (1,750 meters) in the Kavre district. It is a very important Buddhist pilgrimage site which lies about 23 miles (38 kilometers) east of Kathmandu. The stupa and shrines built in this lovely little hill mark a very ancient holy site which signifies the place where a legendary prince named Mahasattva offered himself to a starving tigress with several underfed cubs. This legendary episode is depicted in a very nice stone slab which is right next to a holy stupa.

Highlights

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region. Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Drive to Besisahar

Stop At: Besisahar, Lamjung
We take an early drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar from the bus park. You will be picked from your hotel in Kathmandu for the tour. And our journey to Besisahar characterizes by the high waterfalls, rushing rivers, lush green forests, and diverse landscapes. Overnight, we stay at local homestay at Besisahar.

Day 3: Hike to Ghalegaun

Stop At: Ghale gaun Playground
The route up to Ghale Gaun is mostly gentle uphill. Hike slowly, leaving the Besisahar behind, you will be offered with wonderful landscapes and some mountain views along the way. The lunch place will be along the way in a local restaurant with the local foods. Then we head to Ghale gau where you will be welcomed by the homestay community on their unique way. We will spend some time exploring the local village and observe the local lives then we hike up to the view tower for the Himalayan sunset view. The entire village looks just stunning from the tower. After the sunset, get back to homestay. Now, we spend some of our time camp firings and entertaining with local music and instruments. After dinner, we join the cultural program to watch local ghatu Dance, Krishna Charitra, and more. Overnight at Ghalegau homestay.

Day 4: Drive to Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region. Today, after your authentic local breakfast, they will farewell you in a truly unique way. After some time, we take the same way drive to Kathmandu.

Day 5: Farewell

Stop At: Tribhuvan International Airport
Today we say our final goodbye. Our representative will come to see you off at the airport. Hoping you had a pleasant and wonderful trekking experience we bid you goodbye.
