Introducing in the basics of rafting

A great day on the water surviving together the rapids and whirlpools
The rafting area is operated after Siriu Dam, where water is produced at one or two turbines daily. Rafting is done near Nehoiu town.
The location is suitable for beginners who want to experience the rafting sensation and prepare for rivers with a higher difficulty level.
Buzau river offers obstacles of level 2-3, fast sections by narrowing the bed, followed by large recovery areas.
Some sections are easier, some other are rapids with more technical part.
The exact meeting time for the rafting will be set just the evening before. At 18:00 we will find out the operating hours of the electric power plant after the dam release. That is giving us enough water for a great day rafting.
There is a very small chance to cancel the event due to a small level of water.
In general, the meeting is around 9 am near Nehoiu.
You have to provide your own transport to the rafting area and back. Optional, we can organize the transfer for you at extra cost, depending on the vehicle size. If you choose for the option including transfer from Brasov or Bucharest, then meeting time for pick-up service will be set ~2-3 hours ahead.
Once you arrive, you will meet our team and you will get equipped for water activity.
The equipment that is provided includes: the water thermal outfit (with long sleeves & water shoes), helmet, life vest. You will need to bring dry clothes to keep them for the end of the event so you can dress up dry.
Duration: 2-3 hours in the water including safety instructions and the rafting.
It turns out to be a great day out in the water that is also available for families with children, with the minimum age over 7 years old.
