Ranua Zoo is the northernmost Zoo in Finland with approximately 200 species on its territory.

During the tour, we will visit the reindeer farm and the husky farm, where you will be greeted by the local farmers and their animals. At the reindeer farm, you will have a chance to feed the friendly reindeer while listening to the stories of local life. On the Husky farm, meet these energetic, furry huskies. When it’s cold enough, you’ll be taken for a summer sleigh ride.

Afterward, we will explore the beautiful summer trails and observe polar bears, arctic foxes, wolverines, forest reindeers, owls of different species, bears, and much more. Enjoy a delicious Lappish lunch in the restaurant.

Your day will end with an easy hike for the beautiful scenery of Rovaniemi city. Climbing to the hilltop of Ounasvaara, the highest point in Rovaniemi.
