During the trip we will be visiting few main landmarks of Georgia – ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, Kazbegi region, Kakheti reigion.

Itinerary
Day1 – Tbilisi to Tbilisi
Warm welcome at the airport, transfer to the hotel
Free time at leisure
Overnight in Tbilisi

Day2 – Tbilisi city tour / Mtskheta tour
Breakfast in the hotel
10:00 starting the tour (time can be discussed with the guide)
Starting the tour from the Holy Trinity Cathedral commonly known as Sameba Cathedral. Built in 2004, Sameba is the highest church in Georgia, it is 101m tall.
o Then we move forward to the old city, starting with the most famous areas called Abanotubani (area of the baths). Here we will visit the below landmarks:
o Abanotubani – the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulfuric baths.
o Leghvtakhevi waterfall which is 22 meters tall. The name Leghvtakhevi comes from Georgian word “Leghvi” which means fig.
o Narikala Fortress – you can notice this place from many sides of Tbilisi. Overlooking the Mtkvari River, Narikala offers stunning views on the city. You can enjoy a cable car ride to or from the area of Narikala.
o Kartlis Deda (the mother of Georgia) – proudly overlooking the city, 20m aluminum woman is the symbol of the city
o Then we continue to explore the city on the other side of the river:
o Metekhi – historical neighborhood of Tbilisi, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari River.
o Rike Park – one of the newest parks located in the heart of Tbilisi. It leads us to the famous – Bridge of Peace – bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi.
o Once we take lots of pictures and enjoy the area of old town, we drive to Mtatsminda Park.
o Mtatsminda Park is an amusement facility located atop Mount Mtatsminda on 770 meter height overlooking the Georgian capital Tbilisi. It is the highest point in Tbilisi. Located on more than 100 hectares. Park has more than 100 year’s history. Mtatsminda Park is the most popular theme park in Tbilisi.
o Then we have a short trip out of the city. Trip to Mtskheta – the first capital of Georgia
o Visiting UNESCO Heritage places Jvari Monastery – a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. It is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO
o Svetitskhoveli Church is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral, A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is currently the second largest church building in Georgia.
Tour will be finished around 17:00
Overnight in Tbilisi

Day3 – Tbilisi Ananuri Gudauri Kazbegi tour

09:00 starting the tour
o Today we will have an exciting trip along The Georgian Military Road to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Georgian landscapes. During this journey you will visit:
o Zhinvali Reservoir – picturesque water reservoir
o Ananuri Fortress – medieval defensive fortress, built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list.
o Arch of Friendship near Gudauri – the monument is a circular balcony hanging off of a 600 meter cliff with amazing views of Caucasus Mountains. Not everyone is brave enough to step on the very edge of the balcony, but the memories are sure worth it!
o Kazbegi/Stepanstminda and its famouns landmark – Gergety Trinity Church – one of the most famous destination in Georgia. Stepantsminda is a small highland town surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. Everyone comes here to enjoy the view from the unique Gergety Trinity Church built in the 14th century. The church stands at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi
o Lunch/dinner during this tour can be planned upon wish and preference of the guests
o Once the program is finished, the guide will leave you in the city or drop back to the hotel
Return back to Tbilisi from the trip around 18:00

Day4 – Tbilisi Kakheti tour
Breakfast in the hotel
10:00 starting the tour (time can be discussed with the guide)
o Day trip to eastern part of Georgia – Kakheti region, where you can enjoy the mountain scenery, picturesque villages, ancient temples, taste unique Georgian wines and get acquainted with the secrets of wine-making.
o The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.
o Sighnaghi is endowed with significant historic and cultural heritage sites. Its charming cobblestone streets and alleys, restored original nouveau woodwork, and detailed facades give the town a romantic mystique.The town sits atop a bluff overlooking the Alazani Valley, which is one of Georgia’s most famous wine-producing regions. Stunning view of the Alazani Valley make Sighnaghi one of Georgia’s most attractive small towns.
o Return back to Tbilisi around evening time
Tour will be finished around 17:00

Day5 – Tbilisi Departure
Breakfast in the hotel
Check out from hotel at 12 noon
Free time before departure
Transfer to the airport and farewell to Georgia
